Whiting in New York to James Prentiss in Lexington, Ky., concerning the failure of acceptance of bank drafts on the Mechanics Bank and other banks in Philadelphia and New York; a brief note signed "Gray and Knight" to Willis L. Reeves concerning an enclosed petition and note (both of which are missing); and various business letters.
